| Just a question for anyone who might know: I currently run Windows XP Professional with a Bricopacks Vista Inspirat Ultimate shell. I would really really like to run Emerge along with the current shell. Anyone know if they're compatible, or will something cataclysmic and unfortunate happen to me if I install it? |

Hi half an onion bagel
Welcome to the Emerge Desktop forum!
I had never tried such a pack so this was the opportunity to do so.
There is no problem at all. The only difference is that you will not have the bar at the bottom of the screen.
To be honest Emerge Desktop is much safer to use than Bricopack. Bricopack is NOT a shell, it is a hack of the Explorer shell.
And it is not particularly safe since the authors need to modify a lot of Windows files. This means that (unless they keep providing updated hacked files) you are not using the updated files from Microsoft.
Have fun with Emerge Desktop! _________________

I've been successfully using a combination of Vista Inspirat, Vista Transformation Pack and eD for so long now, I had to actually remind myself which elements were involved before I could answer the question
The answer is that no more will happen to your system than was going to happen as a result of running any of them on its own - Inspirat/VTP simply mod your system's appearance, not its behaviour _________________ XP Pro/Home ... *sigh* - No eD right now ...
